7 DAYS COMBINED SAFARI - 7 Days

Our company representative/guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport and transfer you to a booked lodge for an overnight stay. In the evening you will meet with our staff for a short briefing.

Your guide will pick you from your hotel in Kampala and transfer to Fort Portal town for lunch before continuing to Kibale Forest National park. After your long journey, you will relax at the lodge where an overnight will be spent as well.

After an early morning breakfast you will go for tracking chimpanzees. Tracking chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor. Chimpanzees may be difficult to spot but you will be able to hear their sound of their noisy calls. You will drive back to the lodge for lunch and go to visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. The reserve is abundant with butterflies, plants, animals and, in particular, birds. Spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco and rare Papyrus Gonolek will be of great interest to birders.
The swamp is also home to more elusive animals such as Red Colobus monkeys and Sitatunga antelope. You will have an opportunity to visit local community projects.
Later in the evening, you will drive back to your lodge for an overnight and dinner.

This day will start with an early morning breakfast and then head to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive.

What you see depends on the season, but the Kasenyi plains are excellent for sighting lion and large herds of Uganda kob.

The Mweya peninsula offers excellent game drives with magnificent views across the water to the Rwenzori Mountains. Mweya is one of the best places to look for leopard, which live in the dense, scrubby thickets. You will drive back to your lodge for lunch.

You then will take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel after lunch, this flow between Lakes Edward and George. Kazinga Channel is home to one of the greatest concentration of hippo in Africa and herds of elephant, buffalo and other animals come to drink at the water’s edge.

The channel is a magnet for water birds, with great flocks of pelicans and others birds on the shore, and a great spot to see African fish eagle. Thereafter you will be transferred to your lodge for an overnight and dinner.

Depart the Lodge with your packed lunches, you will conduct early morning Game drive in the Kasenyi sector, to then proceed to the northern circuit of the Ishasha sector you will have your packed lunch by the Ishasha River, conduct another Game drive in the Southern circuit then proceed to your lodge.

After enjoying an early breakfast, you will set off for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This activity starts with a briefing at park offices by ranger guides and the search for gorilla starts. After finding the gorillas, the trekking takes about an hour thereafter drive back to your lodge for lunch in case of lunch time. While at the lodge, you may opt to go for a community walk or enjoy the indigenous Batwa experience to break the day.

Thereafter transfer back to the lodge for an overnight and dinner.

After a morning breakfast at the lodge, you will leave for Entebbe. This drive will take some eight hours and you will arrive late in the evening to have dinner in a restaurant in Entebbe before your transfer to the airport for your departure flight back home. This marks the end of your 7 days trip.
