3 DAYS MOUNT ELGON TREK - 3 Days

This trip starts with you having your breakfast at your hotel in Kampala or picking you from Entebbe airport upon your arrival. Our company representative will make you begin your trip as he drives you to Mount Elgon national park. On your way you will pass through Mabira forest where you will see different tree species as well as enjoying an amazing fresh air from the forest. A stopover will be made in Mbale town where you will have your lunch and thereafter go to Uganda Wildlife Authority offices for registration before proceeding to the Sipi falls.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a booked lodge.

You will have breakfast at your lodge after which you will head for a short guided nature walk from the Mountain Elgon Forest Exploration Centre. You will also visit the community villages of Sabiny people where you will to learn about their culture. You will then return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will take a walk to the bottom of Sipi Falls where water hits the rocks. After watching and hearing the falls, you will then visit the caves.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

The third day will start with an early morning breakfast at the Lodge, after which you leave for Jinja. Visit the famous Bujagali falls and see how white water rafting is done, visit the source of River Nile and get a chance to see where the mighty River Nile which is the Longest River in Africa. You will visit thee famous Sezibwa falls which is believed to have been born from human beings. There after transfer back to Kampala, a stopover will be made in Jinja town for lunch. Drop off will be at your Hotel in Kampala for dinner and an overnight.
